Dogs need to care for their teeth too! Catching dental problems as early as possible will help avoid many dental diseases so keep an eye on the gums, teeth and breath. Bad breath is always an indicator and if you see anything unusual its best to get your vet to check it out.

Don’t brush your dog’s teeth with a human toothbrush though! There are special enzymatic toothpastes and brushes for dogs that really genuinely decrease the plaque on a dog’s teeth and make their breath pleasant again. Please avoid giving anything sweet to your dog, and if you want to give a treat give a raw hide chew or dental treat instead
